THE BRIEF

At Rhino, we specialise in creating unique automotive events and we're excited to share our latest project with Care by Volvo.

Care by Volvo, a subsidiary of Volvo, wanted to produce a live event to launch and promote their new subscription service. This had to tie in with Volvo’s partnership deal on Sustainability with The Eden Project and the inception of their first Electric Vehicle.

Our proposal included recommendations on the following:

  • Pre-production
  • VT filming on location
  • VT editing and supply
  • Landing page platform design, build and reporting
  • Pre & post event email communications
  • Webinar filming on location
  • Set design & build
  • On demand versions with edited live stream
  • Full event management

 

CHALLENGES

  • Short lead time from recce, VT production to live event.
  • Limited timescales for event promotion.

 

SOLUTION

Filmed live on location at The Eden Project, Rhino designed, created and produced a spectacular brand video to drive engagement to the launch event. The actual event, which included a panel of experts and an interactive Q&A session, was also filmed on location and broadcast to a live audience with over 20,000 people registering online.

With any event, the experience is key. We provided dedicated event team, trained specifically for live streamed events, with an emphasis on the production and technical aspect of the live stream. 

All communications were created to brand guidelines including pre and post event, to ensure maximum engagement.

 

RESULTS

  • Increased Brand Awareness – 20,000 online registrations for the event.
  • Affinity – Meaningful conversation about the ethos of the brand and sustainability.
  • Engagement – 6% conversion rate
  • Future Advocates – Increased advocacy for the brand, and the offering.
