Meet Hazel

What made you join the Rhino team?

In a previous role I worked alongside Steve, our Senior Creative here at Rhino. When an opportunity arose, he was quick to recommend my services, and it felt like the right role to take up.

Tell us about your role and what a typical day looks like for you.

The role is extremely varied in what I can only describe as a busy financial environment. With operations across the UK & Europe, I work within a small-knit team looking after all aspects from purchasing to invoicing, alongside our Financial Director.

What motivates you?

Pride. I take pride in all I do, which is often the motivator across both my work life and personal. A ‘Big Plus’ is also working with some lovely people across the board. When you spend much of your life in an office, the people are an extension of your family, so it’s always good to know you’re all working in the same direction. It helps to motivate you.

What are your passions outside of the office?

My family, grandchildren, and the extended animal family.

If you had a different career path, what would it be?

I love my job, but if I could change, I’d be a Zookeeper. No Questions asked. I have an innate love for animals and can quite easily imagine myself looking after some larger species.

What’s your secret talent that no one knows about?

I make a mean potato salad!
