Why did you join Rhino?
Following just over 17 years in the retail automotive industry, a change was somewhat necessary. My wife and I have 4 (now adult) boys, including triplets, and so after years with my foot on the pedal, I had to make a choice between weekends at home or divorce. (No, seriously!)
What transpired was the opportunity to join a forward-thinking marketing agency, involved predominantly within the automotive sector. I was presented with the ability to aid future growth, and with a huge amount of experience within retail, being on the other side meant we could create a product offering and a service that would cater to the needs of automotive retailers. Rhino Events was born, and it’s been quite the journey.

What are your motivations?
Ultimately, I’m motivated by success – but that success is driven by the objective for Rhino to be regarded as the No 1 agency for marketing and events in the automotive sector.
Tell us about your role?
As the Managing Director for the UK, I work across all aspects of our agency and events teams, creating additional revenue streams and helping shape the development of our product offering and commercial propositions, ensuring that we manage customer relationships.
What is your biggest achievement so far?
Spearheading the development of Rhino Events has been a source of great pride over the past 12 years, operating 1000+ events each year - and of course that means ensuring that we continue to deliver the highest levels of experience for our customers.
Tell us one fun fact about yourself?
As a youngster I won awards for ballroom dancing.
